A major set-back in EOL Stamps and Coins: The Cooperative Republic of Guyana has called off the deal to issue EOL© stamps and coins after exhaustive debates over what constitutes moral behavior and E. N. Ginerd's refusal to simply revise the leading characters to be long-lost, well-endowed, amnesic sorority sisters, having four children and an assortment of cute furry pets between them, who are finding their way back to their manly husbands while wearing red bathing-suits that are constantly wet. Although no other country has currently expressed interest in EOL stamps and coins, alternatives are still being sought.

The PEZ© dispenser procurement effort sadly hit another snag with a new and problematic issue over copyright infringement. Though the EOL staff is inexperienced in product development, marketing, and lawsuits, efforts are still underway to produce the highly anticipated line of EOL candy dispensers using the major characters' busts. Should the PEZ© company proceed with their threat of a lawsuit, a new candy dispenser will be developed with another company. Already, Daisy© , a company well-known for the ever-popular Daisy© BB guns and rifles, has expressed interest in expanding their product line into high-powered, semi-automatic, CO2-cartridge candy dispensers. Considering the valuable legal experience Daisy© has had with numerous personal injury lawsuits that would fill the legal void in the EOL staff., this possible partnership appears to be a very promising!

Exciting news! The EOL staff is in negotiations with the Cooperative Republic of Guyana on the printing of EOL stamps and coins. Upon resolution of the moral content issues, which is looking promising, stamps with the EOLian characters and logo are planned for issue as early as 2003.

For those who have been asking about the PEZ© dispensers, unfortunately they will not be available until another factory location can be found. Sadly, the low-bidding vendor has abruptly gone out of business after a rather unfortunate labor situation. I find it truly amazing that in these difficult days of recession, children can be so unappreciative about steady work . . . .
